Mix Mondial is originally a reggae dancehall and electro-oriental sound system created by DJ Awal and Café blanc , well known to Parisian clubbers in the 2000s.
Programmed in the high places of world music and urban cultures , Divan du Monde , Cabaret Sauvage , Espace Confluences , Péniche Makara , Flèche d'Or , La Maroquinerie, among others others, these evenings have marked the memory of those who love mixing and combining cultures.

Initially planned for two weeks , from one Gate to another opening onto the world [ Porte Royale and Porte Maubec , Historical Heritage of La Rochelle], with 35 performances , 18 artists and 19 different shows, MixMondial is reducing its scope (government measures 12/07/21)!
It becomes MiniMixMondial Porte Royale, with a maximum capacity of 49 spectators per date and will be held at the Porte Royale only, different creative horizons presented by artists of composite origins connected to each other are on the bill, Mix Mondial remains cosmopolitan and continues its journey!
[Difficult choice... the shows that were maintained were already scheduled, then cancelled in 2020 due to the health crisis.
Postponed for the artists who were deprogrammed. Thank you to them for their support and for understanding the situation, beyond our control. They will all be with us in a future that we hope is near, to continue together this beautiful project that is the Festival Mix Mondial.]
